What is YVR Mood Jar?
Some of us love Vancouver.
Some of us don’t.
We’re all different.
But no matter who we are, this city connects us through moments that only exist here.
YVR Mood Jar is a small collection of notes made for those shared Vancouver moments.
How it shows up in real life
It’s not about how you feel.
It’s about what happens.
YVR Mood Jar isn’t organized by emotions.
It’s organized by moments.
Moments that happen quietly, unexpectedly, and often feel familiar if you live in Vancouver.
How it works
Encounter
Something happens — rain, a missed plan, a familiar city moment.
Open the jar
There is no routine or rule. You open the jar when the moment happens.
Take a color and read
Each color matches a type of moment. You pick the color that feels right and read the note.

Vancouver is often called a lonely city.
We understand why.
But we don’t believe it has to stay that way.
We made YVR Mood Jar because we love this city and the moments it creates.
We believe those moments connect us more than we think.
Sometimes all it takes is a small note.
And sometimes, sharing it with someone else.
